Our office accepts most health plans. Please contact your insurance carrier to be certain. BlueSelect is the only Marketplace plan we currently accept. PCMH states that we must provide urgent care facilities for patients to choose if we are closed. Please add the links for the facilities below to the LOCAL RESOURCES.

Medicaid for Children

The Child Health Check-Up program is a preventive and comprehensive service for eligible children birth through 20 years of age and for children in the Medicaid program. Good health starts with regular check-ups! Regular check-ups help to identify health problems before they become serious.

Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)

Florida KidCare is the state’s children’s health insurance program for uninsured children who meet income and eligibility requirements. The 1998 Legislature created Florida KidCare in response to the passage of Title XXI of the Social Security Act in 1997. Florida KidCare provides health insurance to children in families with incomes up to 200 percent of the federal poverty level.

Tests and Assessments

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) developed a set of comprehensive health guidelines for well-child care, called Bright Futures, for pediatricians to follow. Each well-child visit has an age-appropriate pre-visit questionnaire. You will notice the questions focus on developmental milestones, nutrition, safety, your child and family's emotional well-being, and recommendations from the AAP.
